Hoy No Circula in Mexico City

This Monday, November 18, 2024, the Hoy No Circula program will be in effect in all municipalities of the State of Mexico and in the 16 boroughs of Mexico City. Vehicles with yellow stickers, license plate endings 5 and 6, and hologram 1 or 2 must stay at home, while some vehicles are allowed to circulate.

According to the Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe), no alert has been issued for ozone problems or poor air quality, therefore there will not be a double Hoy No Circula on this day. This program is activated only in case of environmental contingency to reduce pollution.

The vehicles that can circulate this Monday are electric and hybrid cars, vehicles with ecological registration or exempt hologram, those with holograms “00” or “0”, vehicles for personal use in the health sector with a valid credential, ambulances, school and funeral transport vehicles, cars for disabled persons with a permit to exempt them from Hoy No Circula, public passenger and tourism service vehicles that comply with the verification, motorcycles with a valid Tourist Pass, and cars with red, blue, pink, and green stickers.
